A modified order of service for families with young kids is below (you can access the links in the service plan above):
- Read Heb 12:1-2 pray that God would help us to encourage one another today as we gather to worship him.
- Sing We Belong to the Day and Jesus is the King
- Read Matthew 6:19-21
- Watch the kids’ bible talk (Storing up treasures) + discuss it afterwards together
- Pray in light of the talk:
- Thank God for the things he’s given you. Pray that you will love Jesus more than anything else.
- Give thanks that our treasure in heaven lasts forever and can never rot or fade away.
- Pray the Lord’s Prayer
- Sing Come Lord Jesus
- Kids do the activities / watch some TV while parents listen to the sermon and then join us for the prayer meeting
