Safe Ministry

Creating a Safe and Caring Environment

We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and caring environment for children, young people, and families. All of our leaders and volunteers working with children and youth hold valid Working With Children Checks, complete Safe Ministry training, and follow clear safety procedures and guidelines.

We believe every child should be treated with care, dignity, and respect. Safe Ministry is an important part of how we serve and care for one another as a church community.

If you would like to learn more or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

How We Keep Children Safe

To help create a safe environment for everyone, all leaders and volunteers involved in children's and youth ministry:
  • Hold a valid Working With Children Check
  • Complete accredited Safe Ministry training
  • Undertake refresher training every three years
  • Follow our Safe Ministry policies and procedures
  • Commit to appropriate conduct and accountability in ministry
  • All children supervised by at least 2 workers at all times.
These practices help us provide safe, healthy, and trustworthy programs for children and young people.
